Contains 17 kinds of amino acids, of which 8 are classified as "essential" amino acids to human skin and body. Amino acids are a group of organic compounds that form the building blocks of proteins that make up 75% of the body.  For skin, its functions include healing, repairing, enhancing skin barrier function, anti-inflammatory; maintaining skin hydration and enhancing the production and synthesis of collagen and elastin.
