Discover the Art of Chinese Acupuncture
ANCIENT KNOWLEDGE -
TIME PROVEN WISDOM
Acupuncture, originated from China dated over
2000 years ago, is a proven effective treatment
system for curing or relieving many body disorders
and chronic pain. Acupuncture treatments (known
as zhên jíu in Chinese) are commonly a combination
of two treatment methodologies - zhên (acupuncture,
the needle treatment) and jíu (moxibustion, the
heat treatment). Acupuncture is recognized by
World Health Organization (W.H.O.), and it is gaining
popularity and influence worldwide. For this reason,
W.H.O. has organized all acupuncture points into
Point Numbers for easy reference.
CHINESE MEDICAL PRACTICE
- ACUPUNCTURE THEORIES
In terms of Chinese medicine, the meridians inside
a human body are responsible for the circulation
of ‘Qi’ (energy) and blood throughout the body to
bring balance and harmony to all the internal
organs. If there are blockages or congestions to the
meridians, the flow of circulation will be affected,
and hence trigger various body disorders.
EASTERN ANCIENT TECHNIQUE
- SCIENTIFIC EXPLANATIONS
By stimulating the corresponding acupuncture
points, it triggers the human body to increase blood
circulation and Qi flow within the problematic area
to overcome and remove the blockages in the
meridians, thus restores balance and harmony of
the body. In scientific terms, by stimulating the
acupuncture points, it will trigger a series of chain
reactions inside our body, such as increase in blood
circulation, stimulating the secretions of enzymes
in our immune system, or increase in endorphins
productions, etc.
